I need some super comfortable headphones to use for gaming/music. I have some LCD-XC and they are phenomenal but sitting with those on your head through hours of gaming gets painful.
If there's something close to the HD800 but closed that would be great. Not necessarily sound wise but for comfort. Those things are feather light I just wish tey were closed since there's usually a lot of background noise from the PC, keyboard, family etc.
I want something that's still audiophile quality though has been the caveat of finding closed headphones

Based on the headphones you mentioned, I assume your upper limit price is fairly high?

The Srh 1540's are the most comfortable headphone I've ever worn. That's what I would recommend to you.
