I need to get a pair of headphones for my 7 year old. He is extremely hard on things and most headphones only last about a month. Sound quality is not that important, but durability is. He hates the cheap, foampad, little lightweight headphones and he can't stand anything in ear, so I can't just buy cheap $1-2 phones or earbuds and keep replacing them when they break. I let him use my HD205's when I'm around and he loves those.
The problem with most sub $20 earphones is cheap construction and even some of the better ones still have extremely thin wires and plugs that break. (the coby full sizes are noorious for this and the one set I had suffered the same fate). I'm thinking that the UR-20 may be the best bet, but can anyone else think of cheap alternatives?
