I am willing to spend $150-200 up to $250 not any more on good headphones, bass heavy, coiled cable is preferrable and noise isolating (closed) headphones. The dt 770 pro 80 omh seemed like an option, suggestions welcome :D

Bass heavy? V-moda M80 or M100. I listened to them on Sunday and though they were bassy, it was never overpowering or muddy.

The m-100, what did you think about them? Are they worth it for $300?

Worth is subjective :)

I definitely feel like they were a better headphone than say, the ATH-M50's, definitely much more comfortable as well. But it's really up to the person whether or not the 100's are worth $200 more. If it helps, M100's are generally well liked on these forums, and I could tell why.

However, take my advice with a grain of salt, as I don't have as many headphones to compare to as many of the users here.

For what it's worth, the AKG K545 or the M100's will be my next portable closed headphone.

I see... now I got to change ghe question, dt 770pros 80's vs m-100, I noticed someone already asked thqt on headfi and got to the conclusion that even tho the dt770 " have more space" and "are more balanced", none oc them are good -_-"... anysays I like the idea that the 100's are ultra portable but visually remind me of the beats solo *yuck*... tbe whole headphone idea is subjective! :frowning2: I like to hear my mids but because audiophiles may take 1 decibel less in the mids as "muddy mids" its really hard for me, and please tell me, what is so great in the m-100? Are they balanced? Do they have great appreciation here in headfi because v-moda supports the page? :p anyone else reading this please tell me about them
