Greetings people of Head-fi, I admit to being farily new into this hobby my current cans are  AD700, now these are fine on thier own. but I got myself a pair of Westone 4 a few months back and the upgrade in sound was very noticeable.
I just invested in a Modi/Magni stack and am now looking for a new shiny set of cans to go with these mainly for music and gameing,
Budget sitting around 500 usd stretching maybe up to 600if the deal is solid.
Ive been looking at the HE 400, since they appear like a good set of fun cans any other recomendations would be lovely 
Soundwise Iprefer nice mids , a decent soundstage and enough base so say industrial or electro music does not feal flat.

I wish I had the Money to get a pair of LCD 2 but at the moment its not an option

... hmmm, yea I think the Modi Magni Stack would work well with the Mad Dog! The He 500 might be nice too, not as much bass as the Auzede but still has an awesome kick and a great sound!

The dogs look intressting I had missed they were around. im curious how the alpha dogs compare to he400/500
