Im looking for an AptX HD reciever with the holy trinity.
(Optical, Coax & Analog output)
Willing to give up Optical for Coax or Coax for Optical if need be.
Bonus points if I can pair my desktop computer to it from across the room. To my knowledge there aren't any AptX HD transmitter devices for Windows yet but if one comes out I will be ready.
If it supports Wifi too that might be a bonus but the PRIMARY use of this will be AptX HD.
Want it as close to or under $150 as I can get although please feel free to mention devices up to $250 as I can likely find one used or refurb at some point.
I have a 90's Pioneer stereo across the room from my computer that I like the sound of. I currently have a Cayin N3 to use AptX with it. (If I find a good aptX reciever) I also occasionally plug the N3 directly into the Coax with the USBC to Coax adapter. The N3 doesn't do HD but my next DAP very likely will.
Also if there's a really good bang-for-buck regular AptX reciever that's known to be of high quality for around $100 (and some change) that might be a decent stopgap.
