I curently have the Audio technica AD700 and would like something for the lack of a better term to sound fuller, i would also like to keep it under $200

I bought the philips fidelio x2 but returned them because I found the bass overwhelming, and what sounded to me like the mids were too recessed, and something didnt sound right with the vocals, the sounded like they echod too much.

I will primarily be using these with my ipad for watching movies and tv shows, but also to listen to music, mainly film scores, piano guys, Lindsey sterling, and a little edm.

I was thinking about the sennheiser hd598 would this be an upgrade?

I am open to any suggestions, as im open to any brand etc.
