As the title suggests, i have a pair of headphones that are terminated to an RSA connector, but I don't have any components that use it.

I've seen adapters that go from RSA to TRRS mini jack, but there's no way I'm paying 90$ for those.

The other option would be to solder on a mini jack. Anyone have any experience doing that? Do just have to combine the two - (minus) cables? That way I have + left, + right and - l+r...

That's the easiest option...solder the two - wires to the ground lug on the trs plug and the signal wires +/+ to the left and right lugs. I assume you have a multimeter.

Thanks! I've already gone ahead and soldered a neutrik mini jack. Luckily the RSA has numbered connectors so I was able to number them as to which was L or R.

Don't get rid of the RSA plug. I see that more amp manufacturers are starting to use these for HP output.
