Hi all,

This is my first post, and I couldn't quite find an appropriate place to post this question, so I made a thread. Hopefully I'm not breaking any rules.

The IEMs mentioned in the title are the best I've ever heard. The smooth overall frequency response, not overpowering but qualitative bass, slightly but not too much recessed mids, and well extended, somewhat bright and sparkly treble, man, these just sound amazing. I prefer them over Storm, Mests, Trifectas, and what have you not. I can even now hear much of their greatness even with auto-EQ through my U12t.

Unfortunately, the Europa is not vented, which likely makes it unusable for me. It's also ever so slightly too forward in the mids in my opinion.

The CP74e is simply too expensive, I could buy it but I'd have to wait until it's on the secondhand market, that's how I got my U12t for cheap as well. If I were to nitpick about the CP74e I'd also say it sounds just a tad too warm and too recessed in the mids.

The Jupiter, on the other hand, just has too much bass. However, when I auto-EQ my U12t to them only above 200hz, it sounds just perfect. I could just buy the Jupiter and EQ the bass down, which is the option I'm considering the most now, but ideally I'd like to avoid EQ as I use IEMs on multiple devices. The rest of the frequency response of the Jupiter is bliss to me, no complaints whatsoever.

So, basically I'm looking for other IEMs that graph similarly. My most important requirement, I think, is a well extended but smooth treble. Uneven treble like that on my U12t and many, many other IEMs doesn't quite do it for me. Elysian Pilgrim graphs and sounds very similar (been using them for a month now), but unfortunately they don't sound quite as technical and vivid as the above mentioned options. Supernova sounds similar as well but I just found them too boring.

Any suggestions or comments are much appreciated.

Have a great day!

Hey i was looking at getting a jupiter too. I have a xenns top that I love and am wondering if it's a straight upgrade. I just got an Annihilator and didn't like it all. Shocking everyone thinks it's the best because I think the top is better in every way.

The Annihilator has no presence or engagement. Sounds empty and transient. The top is full and engaging. Have you heard the top? It has less bass but still very fun so if your only critique is too much bass maybe that's a clue for both of us.
