I've gone through 3 sets of im-50s in the last few years... I really like them and they're my first ever IEMs. I like that they go around the ear and can't fall off. I like their sound quality. They also fit me well. I want another more reliable set of IEMs, but with those same qualities - and a mic, if possible. Ideas?
 
The IM-50s could not be exchanged or repaired for free, so I just bought new pairs - since I liked them enough. Most of the wear was probably because I walked around with them in my pocket - but there were no replacement cables, and that's usually what broke first.

I found some replacement cables from lunashop, but they don't have that memory wire that shapes around the ear... Can that be bought independently?
 
The replacement cable may work - though one of the pins inside of the driver which sticks up into the cable is broken - but I could try soldering that.
