Hey all!

I've found I have a little spare cash burning a hole in my pocket right now and figure I might as well upgrade my audio setup a bit. Currently I am running digital from a PC through USB to a Schiit Modi, then analog into a 1976 Sansui 331 Stereo Receiver, and finally out to a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250 Ohms.

I like the way it sounds but feel it could be better, and the Sansui occasionally drops the left channel which is a bit of a pain. I'd like to upgrade it with an amp that's a bit more modern, and I'd like to give tubes a try, though I know nothing about them. Bonus points if the amp also has outs for a pair of speakers, and even better if it has a switch for turning the speakers on or off but I know this is a stretch.

My listening habits are mostly edm, hardcore, and math rock.

Alternatively I would also be willing to invest in a new set of cans if that would get me better performance per dollar.

Budget is ~$200, up to $250 if necessary. Thanks!

Indeed G3 headphone amplifier - my spare and "travel" amp for Sennheiser HD800. Very good for the price and size.

Hmmmmm both look very cool, I will keep them in mind.

I don't suppose I'll find any good tube amps on amazon with prime shipping will I lol?

Here is a Bravo Tube headphone amplifier with a separate line-out (RCA) jacks.
