Hello,
I'm currently looking for a headamp and DAC combo to hook on my future PC build.
First I was leaning towards JDS Labs - The Element, but I discarded it mainly because the customs fee when importing it here (Spain) made it a little pricy (above $500 USD) for the perfomance (USPS Priority Mail + mandatory insurance means 99% chance of paying customs).
So later I searched for something similary priced (local stores or shipping form China/Hong Kong), but with possible better perfomance. My actual selections are:
Which one of these do you think will perform better or should I stick with the JDS Labs - The Element despite the high custom fees? Do you have any other suggestions?
P.S.: Of course the best deal would be buying from China and skipping the customs, but nothing is 100% sure so I also include the price in a local (EU) store (to decide later). Heh.

- AUDINST HUD-DX1 (400€ or $399 + low chance of paying also customs)
- MATRIX M-STAGE HPA U3 (450€ or $400 + low chance of paying also customs)
Which one of these do you think will perform better or should I stick with the JDS Labs - The Element despite the high custom fees? Do you have any other suggestions?
