I know this may be asking a lot, but I'm looking to audition some higher end AKG, Beyerdynamic, and Audio Technica Headphones near the Omaha area, namely the K701, AD900/AD1000, and DT 880 (preferably the lower ohm version). This can either be an audio store or if anyone would be willing to meet, that would be even better.

Trying to figure out what high-end headphone to purchase, and would really like a chance to listen before I bite the bullet. PM me if your interested.

I think the ATs would be a good match for your setup, don't count out the ATH-A900 either.

I've never been a fan of closed headphones in general, which is why I was looking into the AT Air series. But, I would love to be proven wrong.

I would be willing to pick up more gear if necessary (amp, etc.).
