It's been a long process finding the perfect stand for the W5000s. Banana stands don't provide enough "hook," and other stands hold the W5000s awkwardly or unstably. Well, as you may know, Audio Technica released their AT-HPS500 stand recently. And, I decided to take one for the team, so here it is:

To be perfectly honest, I'm loving this stand. It's sturdy and looks very classy. A great addition to anyone's AT cans, although expensive.

I agree it is very well made, looks great with your w5000s, as I'm sure it would look with any woody audio technica.

It is very sturdy and hefty enough so that the stand doesn't feel cheap (if that makes any sense).

The wood is curved perfectly for AT cans, I don't think the felt will be necessary.
