I just broke my pair of stock IEM's which came with my Samsung Galaxy S4 and I am in the market for a new pair to replace them. By way of introduction, I have never warmed up to IEM's because I have found them way too darker, even more veiled than Sennheiser headphones. I just want IEM that is neutral to slightly U-shaped that (1) isn't veiled in the upper midrange and lower treble like I found the Triple-Fi 10's, and (2) has some high-end crispness and a neutral to slightly punchy bass, and (3) it costs under $100 and is preferably at around the $75 price point. In other words, if it somewhere along the lines of the Beyerdynamic T90, I think it will be a perfect match for me and my listening preferences. Currently, I am eying the JVC HA-FXT90. I realize this price range is somewhat limiting, but I am after the best that I can get, realistically speaking. Would that be something that might work well for me?
