A few months back, I wanted a pair of inexpensive but semi-decent headphones for my laptop and netbook, so I bought a the Sony MDR-V150's. Well, they're not exactly spectacular, and I'm looking to upgrade at this point. I'd like to keep the budget at $40 or less ($25 would be nice), and I've found a few potential options: The Sennheiser HD201 and HD202 and the Koss KSC-75 (although they're portable, not full-sized).
These would be mainly for music, and my tastes vary quite a bit: I mainly listen to rock and alternative rock/pop (Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Ben Folds, Radiohead, Guster), but I spend a lot of time listening to classical and film score music as well (especially Bear McCreary's Battlestar Galactica score). Which headphones would give me good audio for my money?
