Hello all!

Recently, I've come across some issues with the Koss KSC-75 drivers. The problem itself isn't the driver as a whole, but the coil connections to the contacts (which lead to the cable and the plug).

Twice as of now, I suddenly lost feedback from one of the earphones. Thinking it was a cable issue (as usual),I opened the driver and found out connections from and to the cable were fine and working as intended. However, while measuting the coil ohmage, there was no response. By wiggling the cable or pressing the coil wires hard enough, I could sonetimes get sound out of it. As such, I concluded it is the thin wires coming from the coil the cause of the problem. Since these drivers might be as good as broken, I figured I could try to resolder them somehow.

Can somebody guide me a little on this subject? Suggestions on the diaphragm removal and the general steps would be awesome. If anyone has had any experience on similar issues, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
