Ultrasone HFI-780. Plenty of bass which never distorts even at very high volumes. The treble is never drowned out by the bass so you get the best of both worlds. It also has a nice sound stage due to how the drivers are positioned off center instead of pointing right into the ear canal.

i have already considered the ultrasone-780 and the v-moda but they both had very contraversal reviews the v-moda where compared to beats "audio wise" and the ultrasones highs where said to be earpiercing but thank you for your suggestions keep them coming

what do you guys think about the HFI-580 btw im a bass head in need of really bassy headphones with nice mids and highs

The 580's have a V shaped sound signature which means there is a lot of treble and bass but the mids are recessed.

+1 for the DT770. I'm only occasionally a bass head, but they definitely deliver.
