Max of $200, but I'd like to keep it under $150.

Computer entirely specifically a SMSL M3 via Optical.
>Type of headphone
Over ear or On-Ear
>Open or closed
Preferably closed since they'll used in a rather noisy house.
>Comfort level
Comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time
>Sound signature
I aim for Neutral in the IEM's I wear because I use them almost exclusively for music and audio-books, but my only want here is they are clear and clean. Neutral, bass heavy, v shaped, don't much care.

Fischer Audio DBA-02
Klipsch Custom 3's
Vsonic G07
Fiio EX1's (Dunu Titan 1's)
Shure SRH-440's
Grado Sr80i's

Honestly, I loved them all. I've had them all for several years each, except the Fiio EX1's. The issue is all of them have broken in some form or another. The SRH 440s, Sr80i's, Custom 3's, and Gr07's, are all dead, with only the Sr80i's being repairable.

If forced to answer, I'd say my DBA-02's.

The brainwavz hm5 is cheap and offers great clean neutral sound with a pretty good soundstage and soft earpads. It is a rebrand of a fischer audio headphone which you seem to have good experience with.

I'd suggest these headphones
-Sennheiser HD 280 Pro
-Sennheiser HD 380 Pro

If you're willing to spend a little more than $150 then
-Shure srh 840
-AKG K550

I would NOT recommend the 280 or 380. The k550 is clean for sure but thin sounding. The brainwavz hm5 is the best all rounder with clean but fuller sound and better comfort

The 440's are what got me into good audio gear, so the 840's are tempting. That said the 440's were a bit uncomfortable. The  HM5's do seem tempting and they look comfy. The K550 look uncomfortable as hell, as do both the 280 pro's, and 380 pro's.

Closed isn't required, it would just be nice.

DT1350 good neutralish on-ears. Ear-clamping though. Can find used <150.

Jays U-Jays colored but nice sounding (took some getting used to) on-ears, comfortable (on my big head at least). Only 90 on Amazon Warehouse.

I've only demoed, but ATH-MSR7 seem like pretty good over ears. Sometimes the new price drops to a little below $200..

Never used the HM5 headphones but can say the HM5 earpads they sell seperately are definitely comfortable.
