I would like to ask and ask you to give me a few ideas and recommendations for the following search:

looking for a headphone amplifier, the requirements are:

- € 500 ..1200.-
- for Hifiman Ananda, Audeze LCD X, Denon 7200, maybe Grado again ... Focal.
- Jack 3.5 jack 2.5 / 4.4 balanced
- low and high gain
- tube or transistor

As a source a DAP via analog cinch, ... maybe later digital

I like it when the sound has a fine warmth, medium and sub basses strong and deep, fast but not bloody.
Middle .. worn out, detailed, analytical but not flat.
The heights should be real, but not shrill and loud.

I thank you very much for your suggestions and ideas.

The DROP THX 789 AAA fits your bill. Plenty of power, all 3 connectors you want, and measures incredibly well. I own one and truly love it. It sounds so clean and can drive everything I own with ease.

I don‘t think you can go wrong with any of the THX amps, such as the DROP THX 789 AAA mentioned above, or the Monolith by Monoprice THX AAA Balanced Headphone Amplifier featuring THX AAA 887 Technology.

I recommend a Woo WA6 SE. very fine amp. Warm, detailed. i Own a pair of LCD 2, I specifically got it for these headphones as many amps do not has sufficient power and solid state made them too sterile and digital sounding. As funds permitted I also upgraded the tubes and interconnects. It took me a couple years and a lot of money to circle in on this amp, and it is sounds absolutely gorgeous. I now use it with my Focal Utopia headphones. So you can upgrade for years around it and it can remain your centerpiece.

More of what to avoid: avoid paying for a built in DAC.

That is all

I agree with this! DAC technology changes rapidly... amps do not.

Yup. I’ve had amps stay lovely for 20 years and only die because re-capping was too expensive. DACs? About 3 years if it was good when I bought it.
