Equipments : Indigo io + voyager

Songs : Classical (string)

i am currently using er4, want to upgrade to a headphone, budget $500, used headphones are fine.

Is w5000 a good choice ?

I can't comment on the source and amp, but I think the Sennheiser HD-580 would suit the music appropriately, and keep you well under budget.
