So today I got a chance to listen to the Sony MDR-1R. I really liked it's sound signature,those forward mids really got me engaging in my music. But they have quite a few problems before I can consider buying them. The problems I had with them were: lack of detail, lack of air in the sound, too unrealistic sounding, too little bass and subbass for my taste.
 
Can someone recommend me a headphone that has the same signature and the same/better comfort of the 1R, only with those problems adressed? I have a maximum of 500 euro to spend out.
