looking for a good headset in the 150-350$ range

Budget - 150-350$

Source - Smartphone and pc

Requirements for Isolation - It must have some isolation because i'm going to be using them out and about.

Preferred Type of Headphone - Full-Size Over-Ear

Preferred tonal balance - I would like good highs, not screechy or fatiguing, Pronounced Mids And deep, punchy and controlled bass, it must also not overpower the mids and highs. instruments and vocals needs to be clear and crisp.

Past headphones - Beats by dre (don't hate me!), Fanny wang 1001, SRH750DJ and Panasonic RP-DH1250-S Technics Pro DJ.

Preferred Music -

Genres - Dubstep (Example, chillstep and other forms of dubstep)

Metal (Metalcore -Dead by April, Melodic death metal - Amaranthe, )

Electronic( Techno, trance, vocal trance,Uplifting trance, house)

Drum and bass

 


 
The headset must have easy replaceable pads and large ear cups.

Takstar are supreme quality but may be slightly too bright for your genre's.
 
Haven't tried the new M50x but the old M50's are almost made for electronica/dubstep. The biggest flaw is lack of soundstage, but they may have fixed that in the new ones I haven't read anything about them yet.
