Hi guys,

I've had a streak of bad luck with their stock cables - even with their premium cable, they will break at the ear loop and lose connection, or one side will suddenly become 30-50% quieter. So I was thinking of looking into alternative cables that provide superior sound quality over the 64Audio stock cables, but that don't exactly break the bank. Any recommendations? I like them sleek and clean, and not too long.

Thanks!

Hi @St0rMl0rD,

While I haven't heard any 64Audio IEMs, I have heard & have quite a few inexpensive cables.

penonaudio.com & penon-offical.com are good places to start for said inexpensive cables which are worth considering though it is important to note, changing cables don't affect an IEM's base sound signature but does change the sound tuning to subjective taste so it will all depend on your hearing, how you percieve sound, head shape, ear shape, ear canal shape, etc...

The following are comfortable to varying degrees & all subjectively sound good...

So in no particular order, I recommend the following :

Penon Audio
ISN Audio H 16
ISN Audio C 16 (Slightly Emphasises Bass)

Penon Official
Orbit
GS 849
OS 849 (Slight weight, suggest not using with light IEMs)
GD 849

Hope any of these work for you, feel free to ask more if you need.

Hope you have a great day !
