Looking for a good bluetooth transmitter without a noise gate

I'm looking for a decent bluetooth transmitter to hook up to my main system to allow me to listen via bluetooth headphones on occasion. I already have a good DAP, and dedicated headphone setups, but sometimes I just want to be able to roam around while still listening to main rig and its various inputs (CD, radio, tape, you name it). I'm kind of surprised that both of the recent bluetooth transmitters I've purchased had to be returned because they BOTH employed a noise gate so that in very quiet passages of music (most specifically classical music), they would simply cut off the signal and it was a jarring effect. Anyone have a recommendation? Thx!
