Hi,

I do have DAPs, and sometimes use them as portable audio devices...

But now, I'm listening most of my music on my bed, at night.

So I don't technically need a DAP, and was looking for a non portable alternative.

I'm looking for a device which :

- does not have a battery (batteries die)
- have a headphones output (obviously)
- is powerfull enough to drive planar headphones
- has USB/SDCARD input so I can put my flac as sources
- has a player interface, or a deported one so I can navigate my music with my phone/tablet (I mostly used the all music random when listening music)
- is less than 1000USD
- is not too big
- is as good as a good DAP (most 200USD DAP are good to me)

The only thing I've found so far, is 2 devices : Aune X1S + Aune X5s.
Those two nearly meet all my needs, but the X5S player is very basic, and it can only be operate with the remote.

Do you know any solution I could find ?

The one device that I can think of off the top of my head that checks some of your boxes but not others is the Xduoo X10T and X10T II. It's a digital transport device, so it has no amp or dac built into it. It requires a separate amp/dac to fulfill its intended purpose. Since it's a transportable it comes with a li-ion battery, but it could probably be used as a stationary device as well if you just left it plugged into your wall socket. Here are a couple of links for you to read more about it.

Thanks,
I did not now that Xduoo X10T.
Looks like a DAP, but just the player part of it.

I'm surprised there is no such thing as an all in one quality headphones music player (player+dac+amp) with no battery.

I know there are things like this Sony :

But it's massive, it has a real speaker amp (which is useless for me), and most of all, the sound on the headphonesjack is clearly not as good as a decent dap.
