Im also on the lookout for budget conditioner/surge protector within €150,- range. My brother got a Monster HTS800 Power center for €100,- which looks pretty good.
Most protector/filters seem to be 110v only or made for UK plugs.
take a look at a furman power conditioner M-8x, its 15 amp has 8 outlets and also filters the incoming electric noise. it runs $59.00 at partsexpress.com. I have a power werks and it does a real good job!

Also ordered it. Though i got the 8 output version, for much more but still cheaper than the Monster HTS800. Its damn hard to find here with the right power connection. For €70 im still not complaining and i can finaly kick out my old(OLD) ungrounded strip. Together with the Element Cable power cords i should be settled.
I have a Monster HT700. I use it with my TV, but I did try it out with my amp/dac. It screwed up the highs a bit and made my dac "digital-sounding" regardless of whether I used the cheap stock cable or aftermarket cable on it, so I went back to using a regular surge protector.
What power conditioner would you guys recommend that doesn't have this effect (if there is)?
