I am currently with little dot dac1/ MKVII+

and my budget is around 700-800, what is my best option???
can someone give me a hand here?

Check out the NFB-10WM by audio-gd.

The DAC section should be better than your LD DAC1, and the amp section is plenty for HE-6 - roughly 4.5x more power output than the MKVII+.

ok but how will this dac/amp compare to

little dot MKVI+? or the audio-gd ROC??

i kind of want to have standalone dac and amp.

Either of those stand alone amps should be better than the amp section of the NFB-10WM/ES, but I think upgrading the DAC portion along with the amp in the NFB-10WM would bring the bigger overall upgrade.

i rather do it seperately

two way to go...

Little dot DAC3(should be early next year) + MKVI+

or audio-gd  NFB-1 + ROC

still deciding which way to go...
but i will be getting the amp first once

I sold my concerto and the A100 headphones

The Roc sounds very good with the HE-6's

I am very happy with the sound of the LCD-2's out of the Roc s/e still waiting for my balanced TWAG cable to arrive.
Haven't heard the T1's yet but possibly my next headphone purchase :)

Could you let me know how the T1's compare to your Lcd's and HE6's in Sound Quality & Sound Character. Can't seem to work out which one, if any, the T1 more closely resemble.

Thanks.

To me T1 sound much much closer to HE-6 then to LCD-2

it is also a headphones that can use some warm from the amp.
Used to have the little dot MKIVse, it does sound pretty good using that amp.
but once balanced it , i just want to do balanced.

too bad the HE-6 is really under powered, this is why i wantto get the ROC sa
