I really am spoiled for choice, but these are the cans I've been considering

Grado sr325i or alessandro ms-2- I think I'd like them sound wise, but the
Comfort issues bother me a lot.

Beyerdynamic- dt770 but I'm not really looking for neutral sound,
They look comfy as hell though.

I'm coming off of some 8 year old bose triports from best buy, so anything will
Be an improvement. I like rock, hip hop, classical, acoustic, electronica, rap, blues in that
Order. My music is anywhere from 256-320kbps and ill be playing it out of a laptop

I'd like these to be my at home headphones, and they need be super
Breathable, for those extended listening sessions where I just want to escape the world
Completely, to my tiny island of audio nirvana.

Couple of things, comfort>sound quality but don't make me suffer (not a huge fan of velour)
And isolation does not matter, as these will be my home cans (no wife)

The Grado SR325i's are the best choice. Though you should also check out the V-Moda M-100's, Sennheisser Mommentums and the Sony MDR-1R's.
