"Autobahn" coming in at 22:43, and in second place, the ending theme to Final Fantasy VI, coming in at just over 21 minutes.

Braxton and Coltrane actually have the top 8 before Phish comes in with the previously mentioned headphones jam,

My students are always amazed at how long Stairway is at 8:01, or some other random tune. I show them the amount of pieces i have that are over 30 minutes, and they are dumbfounded. Just my small way of letting them know about the vastness of music.

The Allman Brothers Band/Live At The Filmore East/Mountain Jam @ 33:41 so far but there's a lot I haven't ripped so there could be something longer in the remaining 500-600 CDs...

on my iPod, it would be "Carnage Visors" by The Cure... 27:29 of gloom and doom instrumental dirge... awesome. IIRC as the Trouser press Record Guide says, "lock up the razor blades while listening" or something like that!

it used to be "Coming Up For Air (performance)" by Ride, i think it clocked in at 32 minutes or something like that... the legendary band reunited for this one off to record a free flow jam of noise and feedback for a Sonic Youth documentary.

Same here. I want to check out this 40 minutes solo piece!
