Howdy,
 
I've been an audioholic for quite some time, but am new to this site.  I came here at the advice of some folks on audioholics.com as I'm doing research on a new set of full size headphones. 
 
I'm just about settled on making some modifications to what I have (shorter cord for my ATH-M50 and ear pad repair to my ATH-ANC7b).  Sadly, the ear pad replacement might be a bit tough since they're glue-in.
 
I'm also seriously looking at the German Maestro GMP 8.35 D Monitor (mobile version).  Right now, I'm just trying to find out if the mobile version is available from any US suppliers since shipping from Germany adds quite a bit.

Thanks!  I've found several offerings, but none for the mobile (short cord) version.  I'm checking again now.
