I havent built anything in ages... but lockdown and a sports injury pulled me back to my old box of valves.

D3a parafeed, cascode dn2540, edcor transformers. Just waiting on the power tx and its good to go.

CCS will be @ 19ma, currently using leds to bias, but may try SIC diodes. I may also put in a regulated B+, but the CCS are so good, i may get away without it.

amazingly, the only thing not from the parts bin was the headphone jack and the power tx.

and more - a tinkering board. Adjustable CCS, Adjustable SIC diode cathode bias, just finished the adjustable pinout (dip switches) for pinout variations.

6e6p-ev @ 30ma and 160v are shockingly good. i think i prefer this £3 tube to my now worth £120 c3g.....

The 'tinker board' works so well. incredibly quick to swap tubes, swap current, swap bias, all without soldering, and all accessible from the top.
