You can audition the "low end" Grados (SR-60/SR-80) @ Cambridge Soundworks inside the Great Mall. If you happen to come by another place, please inform me as well.

you might try The Audible Difference on El Camino in Palo Alto. I seem to remember them carrying Grados at one point. 650-328-1081

vikingnaya: If you don't mind going to SF, then you could try Harmony Audio Video, 333 West Portal, (415)-661-2525. Thy usually have the complete Grado line from the SR60 up to the RS1 - and there should be no problem to get a parking lot on West Portal. Greetings to both Franks, if you go there.

San Francisco Stereo in Mountain View (as well as SF) has the full Grado lineup. They are on El Camino Real. They have a web site if you need address, hours, etc. http://www.sfstereo.com/ The Analog Room in San Jose has a few models at any given time but usually not the full line, you can call to see if they have the ones you're interested in.

Speaking of San Francisco Stereo in Mt. View, I just recently sampled both the SR 60s and SR 325s on my SL-SX280 CD portable. The 325s had a tad better bass, yet the 60s had quite a smooth, clear midrange. I'm thinking of getting the 60s, yet at the same time, I always find myself yearning endlessly for the Sennheiser HD 280s (which are $30 more!!-mind you, I'm on a very intense budget!!!!). Well, if I can't get the 280s, I guess I'm better off getting the 60s!!!!
