I have a guitar connected to the aux in on my Live 24 bit though a simple opamp based preamp. A digital amplifier is connected to the S/PDIF output. Capture works great but how can I pass though the guitar signal to S/PDIF so I can have an easier time optimizing the preamp circuit?
The system the card is installed in is an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with 1.5GB of RAM running kernel 2.6.19-gentoo-r5.

In the Surround Mixer,choose Auxilliary In has the recording input.In the advanced controls on top,make sure "Do Not Monitor" is unchecked.In the playback mixer,unmute Aux and set volume to full.
