little trick with Canare Starquad & techflex

I was finding the starquad a little bulky for headphone cable. So I cut out the plastic layer of the cable. By putting black techflex on top of the metal sleeving, it will give a shimmering look to the techflex which look quite nice.
I tried to take a picture, but my canon a70 is not doing it justice.

Another option is to remove the shield, assuming you don't need it.
I have done this for a few mini > rca cables which it makes it nice and flexy. (Pull the sheath off, remove shield, put sheath back on)
