I know this probally gets asked a million times a month, but here goes.  I built me a pretty sweet HTPC,  i listen to alot of music and i watch alot of blu ray movies.  Im looking for the best all around sounding headphones for about $250 or less that will give me good music and good for movies.  I dont plan on taking them outside the house so not really sure if i need closed back, im kinda a noobie when it comes to headphones, so all your top picks will be considered.  I like bass, but not overwhelming bass, just good clean sound for music and movies, thanks for all your help.

Heya,

Denon D2000 (used/refurb)
Ultrasone HFI 2400 & PRO 750
AudioTechnica A900X (used/refurb/sale)
Beyer DT770
Panasonic HTF600

If your HTPC can accept a PCI card, look to the Xonar DG. If not, consider something simple perhaps like a Fiio E10.

Very best,
