Hello,
I am new here and new to audio gear in general. Currently I own a pair of Sennheiser HD 595 but will be upgrading to 650's soon. I play most of my music through my stock Macbook Pro laptop. I hear it is necessary to get a great headphone amp to make the best use of these phones so I am going for it. Right now it is between the Little-Dot MKI and the Headroom Total Bithead. (This is the price range I can afford)
What would you guy's suggest between those two?
Also, what is the big difference between these type of amps and a tube amp, and is it necessary to get a DAC converter to get the best sound out of CD recordings? (If not, what is the best way to get the best sound out of CD recordings using this setup)
