Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the op-amps inside the MK6 with either the HDAM Earth/Moon/Sun OPAs?

I don't think anyone has done it yet. I just ordered some for my DAC but was wondering if anyone knew about doing it for their Little Dot. Seems like this would bring a big improvement for very little money.

I don't know if the HDAMs are only good inside DACs or will bring equal benefit inside an amp.

if those 4 opamps are used for audio, then probably yes, they can be swapped. but if they are used for power regulation, then no. best to ask David at LD.

and even if it can be switched, the upside down position may make it unsuitable for mounting. and the temps in there can get pretty arm

Took your advice and ordered them for my DAC. I think I will probably leave them alone on the amp though. You make some good points.

good to hear. The OPA Moon may closely match the sonic signature that you are looking for. Just remember that those OPA's take a loooong time to burn-in. So reserve judgment until after at least 100 hours has passed.
