Hey, I was just wondering what this amp can power up before I purchase some high independence headphones. Looking at either at the K701, DT990 or HD650. Wondering if it's enough juice to power them up to their potential.

if you get the DT990's, the MK1+ would be better for them. The DT990 lack mid-range, and the MK1+ boosts the mid-range a little bit. That's good if you like Rock / Metal.
