Thinking about getting the LD Mk VI and going balanced with my HD-650's. Reading the review and thinking--perhaps too much--about the fans and vibration that they might bring to the table. I put tube dampers on my BAT VK-31EE preamp and convinced myself that if I can't hear any improvement, knowing that my tubes can't self-oscillate my music MUST sound better.

Would tube dampers make an improvement with this amp, given the inherent vibrations from it's cooling solution?

i put rubber grommets on the fan screws, between the fans and the case - kills all vibration, especially considering how low-speed the new fans they use are

these cost $3, so theyre a cheap way to feel better
