I have swapped out the original op amp for two single OPA445BM mounted on an single to dual adapter.

Normally with the stock op amps, the amp will only be warm after listening. However, after 2 hours with the new one, the amp as a whole becomes very hot. I wouldn't want to leave my fingers on the chassis for over 3 seconds. The op amps themselves are cool too touch tho, I suspect the heat is coming from the transformer( that big block sitting behind the tubes).

New to op amp rolling and I find this concerning. Not sure if there is something I have overlooked and if the op amp is compatible with LD I+ or not.

Will I damage the amp if I keep this up, or is this normal and the amp will be fine running the op amp?

Thanks
