I just came across this (I am a cisgender male). In light of reading this, I’ve added TDoR to my phone’s calendar (November 20) and I am updating all my socials with my pronouns. I encourage all cis people reading this to do the same.
As the article says, cisgender people telling others what their pronouns are helps normalize the practice for trans people to do the same. Hopefully we can reach a future where nobody is ridiculed for sharing their pronouns!
