Over the last three to four years Little Dot has produced many incredibly successful and popular series of headphone amps. With the introduction of the new Mk-series from Little Dot the nomenclature of LD amps has evolved to become so convoluted that even long time followers like myself are often baffled by the alphabet soup of I’s and pluses. So for the sake of clarity in future discussions I’ve compiled the following table and URLs as a resource for LD users and also to set the record straight (or at least firmly crooked) on the proper designation of the various LD amps.  I expect to update the contents of this table periodically as new products and information arrive and please PM me if you see areas that require correction. I hope LD users and people who are interested in researching about LD amps find this post useful. Happy Listening!

On the LD forum, in response to the question "Is this a fully discrete pure class A amp?" Sword-Yang states "This is a OP + transistor BUF amplifier, and not only Class A, is Class AB".

Where do you get the info that it is Class D? Just curious.

Looks like I confused the MkV with the T_DHA. The MkV is indeed a class AB amp while the T_DHA is class D based on the tripath chip.
