Don't forget that the Sennheiser HD 700 has the same, old HD 650 driver. I believe that the wireless RS 220 might also have the same driver, as well.
Also, the Amperior has the HD 25's driver.

What about different companies using the same driver? For instance: The Denon D1001 and Creative Aurvana Live!

HD700 driver is not confirmed as the same, is it.
The Grado question is a tricky one, i had the 60i and 80i , sounded the same to me.

HD 700 sharing the same drivers with HD 650 would be a great comfort for the HD 650 owners but there is no proof so far.
 
I was trying to locate a link confirming that Sennheiser HD 465 and HD 485 share same drivers with HD 515 but I was not lucky enough so I can not confirm.
