as many of you know ive experimented quite a bit. ive tried the 2 majir sound of the headphone world, both the laid back sound of senn and the in your face sound of grado. they are pretty good for some non hiphop tracks that i listen to but i'm trying to move on .

the 2 headphones that i enjoy the are the v6 and the k81.seriously considering dt770 pro80

so can anyne of you help me build up this list.

thnks.

2005 dt990's could fit the bill as well. Depending on your tastes in music that is.

If you aren't a fan of big bass, the HD595'd work well too.

how can he not be a big fan of bass and listen to hip hop. COME ON! i suggest you just go with the dt770's man. you'll LOVE them. there's no other headphone that will deliver that kind of bass.

There is a lot of hip hop out there that isn't dominated by bass. It all depends on who you listen to. I will give you that most mainstream hip hop arrangements are very bass heavy though

Darths or Ultrasone 750 or 2500. Great detailed bass and voices with the prolines.

I listen to those artists's albums probably two or three times a week each with Beyer DT770 Pro 80s, they are PERFECT for that genre.
