Hi all,

Hope it's ok to make the post here:

I have seen posts regarding the Linear Power Supply/walwart/etc. for the Squeezebox for something like $5 and it was a substantial/necessary component w/use of Squeezebox. If anyone can give me some options/links/resources that would be great.

I am also looking for a line conditioner for my dac. What is the cheapest, but comparatively as good to the hi-fi type stuff that I can find? I don't care if it is used, beat up, etc. so long as it is what is needed to properly "optimize" the dac's performance.

I think the Belkin PureAV line is just too classy

What was the cost of that one (next to the squeezebox) or is it diy?

The line condition in the post above is way out of my price range, not that it isn't a good deal, but...and it is very beautiful looking. For me, I just want a dirty ugly box that does the job for the dac

Sleestack,

That is a nice looking supply.

I used this one from Power One and mounted it into a cheap plastic case with stand-offs. Doesn't look anywhere as nice as Sleestacks but it works and I can hear a difference for the better. Not bad for about $60 in parts.

I'm gonna have to re-case mine soon.

btw. Sleestacks is a linear power supply and not a conditioner.
