is there a true line-out (like the sik-din for the ipod) in existance for the Rio Nitrus? I built an amp for a friend who has a nitrus, and i've scoured the web for a line out for that thing but had no luck. can anyone tell me where to find one, or if i am not going to find one? thanks a lot.

also, while i'm on the subject, what circuits exactly does a true line-out bypass? the volume one, obviously, but any others? im just curious.

I'm thinking amplification. And with digital sources, I don't think it is reasonable to limit "line-out" by forbidding digital attenuation. Or would a high-end soundcard like EMU not have a true line-out because the volume can obviously be controlled by software (in the digital side)?
