The MDR-D33(W), mean it is a white color version.

Has anyone done a review for D77 vs. D66? I'd be very curious as to the differences in sound.

I think austonia owns both D77 and D66. I just got the D22 in the mail today. audiocubes gave me the wrong color but oh well, I think i'll keep it anyway.

as a brief comparison between the D66 (roughly 20 hours of usage) and D22 (maybe 2 hours of usage) so far, D66 beats it handily in sound quality. D22 sounds kind of echo-ey and recessed. kind of reminds me of the ex70 only the highs aren't as harsh and the overall sound is not as bad. D22 seems to work well with trance but for rock it seems to take a lot of the energy out of the recordings. I would say the D66 is definitely worth the extra $45 or so over the D22. The D22's only redeeming qualities are that it seems to be more durable than the D66 and much more easy to fold. Also they seem to isolate a little better since the completely plastic headband clamps with greater pressure than the D66. thus i'll be carrying it around everywhere and leaving the D66 at home.

I'm always worried about the D66 wire breaking from the repeated folding since they seem to be so thin.

oh ProFingerSk8er, have they sent you the confirmation that they've shipped it yet? the moment you can track your package, it will take roughly 3 days from that point to get here to California and then another day to deliver it.
