Hello ya'll head-fellows,
It took me a long time to make a decision but I think I made the right one.
I bought a CORDA PREHEAD 1 MkII and for this purpose a Beyerdynamic DT 880 (2006 Model) from Meier-Audio. First I want to say is that to do business with Dr. Meier is very trustworthy and relaxing. He is able to achieve any wish if it's possible. Thank you Jan Meier for the convenient handling and stressless deal.
What's more to say? As often told here the CORDA PREHEAD is an solid built device and on high level quality. This is the working that I prefer, indestructible.
For me the sound is very neutral without any addiction to sharpness in every frequency area. I don't use the crossfeed option very often. Also in stereo setting the CORDA is very satisfactory to me.
In my opinion the amp drives the DT 880 very well in every sonic range and these Beyerdynamic's seems to be one of the best choices to contract a partnership to the CORDA. Relaxed listening for hours on high sonic level. From my point of view this combination will works for years - ...hopefully!

Conclusion - I opened my wallet and I don't regret this for a minute.
