Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster!
I've been very happy with my Ety MC3 paired with an iPhone 4 - the isolation and sound quality were exactly what I was looking for. My only beef is that the build quality seemed poor - when the IEMs expired last summer it was the fourth pair, and I'd had them all exchanged under warranty. Different faults each time (one channel DOA, frayed cables, glue undone in one monitor…) so I'm a bit hesitant to buy Etys again. (I've emailed them and asked if they've changed QC or design, but have had no reply so far).
Regardless of my reservations, I'm eying the HF2 headset to match my new Android phone, so thought I'd ask your opinion. If possible, I'd like to have the Ety sound and fit, but with volume control in addition to the mic-button (HF2 only has one button) - is there such a beast?
(Based on some review or other I bought NOCS NS500, but they were way too bassy for my liking, so I'm trying to do some more research before wasting more money.)
