Was thinking about buying the lightest AptX capable cellphone to stream TV & music from my computer over WiFi.
All I want it to do is connect to my computer over WiFi and stream via AudioRelay whatever I'm watching on TV or playing music.
And also be able to use a data-only SIM in it for long walks away from the house.

The cellphone I'm looking at is a small Samsung at 140 g (4.94 oz). If possible, I'd like to find something even lighter.

Any suggestions?

I believe you can't go lower than 140g. After that, you don't have any smartphone let alone one that supports AptX.

The only option you have is a BALMUDA Phone (138 grams with a plastic back) if you can get your hands on it.

I ended up going with a Samsung A40. Great specs, 140g.
Has custom ROM's available if you want.

Ah yes, if you want to get into installing a custom ROM then yes A40 is a great choice. Just avoid putting extra protection on the phone so you won't add up any extra weight.

I got a Google pixel 2 on eBay in good shape for $30 with shipping. It's 140g, easy to flash new ROMs, and the camera is spectacular. Also supports the BT APTX. I got it just for the camera, but it's so compact and fast it's worth getting.

P2 is 143g but that's close enough. And it does add water resistance which is nice.
